Navy Mock Croc Loafer
Style out in these navy mock croc loafers. They really have an expensive feel about them with the leather faux panel and the brass horse bit. Although the loafer originates from the moccasin style construction, these days the formality levels are pretty high and we can easily see these navy loafers with a suit. Having said that, the loafer is quintessentially a relaxed affair (as the word suggests!). We really like the idea of flashes of yellow with this as it ties in with the nautical vibes. However you want to manifest that is up to you. Whether you are bold and go for a pullover or flashes in a tie, scarf or pocket square. You can be pretty laid back also and just wear neutral tones as these navy mock croc loafers speak for themselves.
Where Do Loafers Come From?
Many tribes such as North American tribes wore the original design for these: the moccasin. Who is credited with bringing them to the West? Some say Tveranger from Aurland, Norway and some say Wildsmith, UK. We can speculate but both had something to do with bringing the loafer to us.
