Black Oxford Brogue
Classic black oxford brogue with a wing tip and medallion to the toe. Although brogues were not considered formal in their day, over the years they have become acceptable. As the style is an oxford, it lends to that formal feel and so this would work nicely in a office setting. You could wear with a suit which is slim fit for a really clean look or you could wear with jeans and jacket for a more relaxed vibe.
So do remember to spray these before you wear them. It is all about protection and doing this will preserve the life of the leather. From time to time if you can give them a quick polish and spray, you will find your black oxford brogues last longer. Waterproofing them will be beneficial and the irony is that the reason brogues originated was that the holes were inserted to help drain water from the feet of workers in wet bogs! The style became adopted by country fellows and over time became worn out and about. It took a long time to get to a place where they were acceptable in the workplace but these days it is not an issue. See here for a quick guide to polishing.
